PAC Tour’s Desert Camp

We had a great time at PAC Tour’s Desert Camp, despite the first couple of days riding in the snow, sleet, rain, wind and downright cold weather. After riding, Andrew, Patrick, and Jonathan met daily to discuss race logistics, crew assignments, and the other million things that need to be planned for before, during and after RAAM. Having to say “see you later” to Jonathan before he had to fly back for his work commitment was hard. But we got to spend some great time with his dad, George and crew member, Brian. While many of our moments together were serious, we did manage to have some fun on and off the bike.

90 days to RAAM

Next week, racers Andrew Puddy and Patrick Seely will head to southern Arizona for Week 5 of PAC Tour’s Desert Camp. Andrew is flying in from Australia and Patrick will be traveling from Reno. Also joining them will be Jonathan Jahant, crew chief, and Brian Meakin, crew member . Besides training in the desert heat and wind, there will be meetings to discuss crew assignments, iron out logistics, and plan for RAAM. With just over 90 days to RAAM, their work is cut out for them.
